Prologue

  You know, it's funny how some little detail can change your whole attitude.  Something as simple as a look or a greeting can change everything you think or know.  It can turn your whole world upside down, or, sometimes, it can turn your life back right-side up.

 

  This has happened to me recently.  I've always considered friends this world's greatest natural resources, and a newfound friendship has managed to shape who I am today.  My friendship has cheered me up many a time when I was feeling down and I've learned many things from this friendship.  I've even benefitted spiritually and become a better Christian through it.

 

  Anyway, this story here is about my friend and I, and the route we've taken through the years to become friends.  There are a lot of ups and downs, and there have been moments of doubt from each of us, but we were able to see past the differences to stay strong as friends.  I hope you enjoy it.
