A Rank of My Own.

A Rank of My Own.

A Story by Austin

I wear a Green Belt, and I am the only one I know, or know of, who does.

The Green Belt I wear shows others of the hard work and huge efforts of my life.

But, for me, the Green Belt I wear is representative of the loneliness I face in life.

I go above and beyond, when I can, but the flip side of this coin is that I don't have many friends to share in my victories with.

I'm a rank of my own. Not a particularly high or low rank. Just a rank.

I'm the only one of my kind.

And I don't like the way that feels.

Cheer up. You're the only one that can make yourself feel this way, and you're never as alone as you think.
