Forgotten

Just something a tired, sad Austin wrote.

When I see the laughter
And the friendship and the joy.
I remember the happy times
The harsh world did destroy.

I used to laugh and joke like that
But then one day things changed.
I never will forget those times
and I'll never forgive my pain.

The fault is no one's,
Nobody's but mine,
But pain still hurts
All of the time.

I've been forgotten.

I tried to fix mistakes of the past,
but some things can't be fixed like that.
Time rolls on I'll be alright.
It's just now heavy on my mind.
