Forget This!

Some day, things will be different, and I can finally forget this life.

I run all day, I run all night,
but I know some day I can stop this fight
and forget this pain.
Forget today.

Today emotions cause me pain.
But some day it will be my gain.
Maybe I've just gone insane,
But some day thing's won't be the same.

I vent my thoughts through rhyming words,
But I'd rather fly free like the birds.
I'd like to escape this daily grind,
But I'm afraid I'd lose my mind.

Pain in my legs
Pain in my back
Pain in my heart
From help's lack.
Pain in my mind
From confusing events
And a constant ringing in my ears
From misuse of them over the years.
