Forget

Forget

A Poem by Austin
"

You'd never see unless you looked hard.

"
A leaf high on a tree;
A single blade of grass.
It's as likely that someone would notice me,
As they'd notice a shadow in the darkness.

I'm just another memory
In a scatter-minded brain.
Sometimes being so forgettable
Is the best way to hide the pain.

When nobody gives a care,
You're stuck in my world.
Maybe you will see me there.
Just another strand of hair.

Another single grain of salt;
One drop of water in the sea.
Just give it a little time,
And you'll be forgetting me.
