A Bit of Nonsense About a Recent Trip

A Bit of Nonsense About a Recent Trip

A Poem by Austin
"

Took a trip called the Ordeal. This is about my trip, even though it is basically nonsense.

"
There were many laundromats,
Joe Jonas being one,
I thought the Ordeal was terrible,
They thought it was terribly fun.

And the head washing machine,
above all the laundromats,
Went ahead to prepare a trail,
for us lowly Cannadats.

And Dave saw our progress,
And griped at the laundromats,
but then a lowly Cannadat
helped Joe Jonas, our laundromat,
and Johnson took it all back,

As for food, well I'll tell,
Raisins and Crackers as well,
we were to live off spirit's fill
but that whole time I did feel ill.

Jess and Colton and Jody
traveled with me.
But Catfish had to stay
and go another day.

While sleeping in the Hall of Mess,
Noisy were Colton and Jess.
They insulted our laundromat,
but they were simply Cannadats.

Exhausted I returned,
just to leave once more,
and go back to the ranch once I earned
my sash and pocket door.

The Ordeal was an Ordeal,
And it turned into an Ordeal.
The whole thing was quite an Ordeal.
And it's not my last Ordeal.

It made me think of angry washing machines and Canadians!
