the rain

the rain

A Poem by falling_toxic_rain
"

Not exactly what i wanted to say, but its close enough

"
while everyones asleep
i sneek out,
through the window which are covered with bars
i look around
and see about,

the sky starless, misleading
the rain begins to fall
(drip drop, drip drop)
splattered to my face
splattered to my face
(drip drop, drip drop)
i smile
and you may think me crazy
soaked and chilled
pure and cold
clear and bold
it clenses my soul
(drip drop, drip drop)
i smile

This poem is really great. It made me think a little more about how I feel after it rains. Usually soaked... >.> haha but none the less I do feel really clear in my mind. The smells, the look of sidewalks and roads... dirt being darker than usual. It all puts an effect as if time even slowed time for bit. :)

thanks:)
This is an excellent poem about the rain with vivid visual imagery. There's a sense of renewal after your soul is cleansed by the rain which makes you feel happy and free.

Yea exactly.
Thanks for the review.
I love the rain. I can remember running in it with friends when I was young and we enjoying every minute of it. Good piece.
