White Lady

White Lady

A Poem by coobiesaid

Tempt me,

leave me on the edge

of my seat.

Taunt me,

but don’t flaunt your

power; it’s more

than you can handle.

Tag me

as you favorite lost

lover.

Leave me

without the note

that pledges each

heartbeat.

Fake it,

if you must—cannot feel

the heat

anymore.

Save me

because you want to craft

a story in my

honor.
