Writer's BlockA Poem by The Invisible Girl
I look out my window and wander
Why is this happening to me? I look back down at my pen and paper. They all sit very still Waiting for me to pick it up and start writing. But all they receive from me is silence and tears. My thoughts are tangled in my head. I can't even think straight. Why can't I write!? I suck in a deep breath And pick up my pen I close my eyes and start to hum I slowly drop my pen to the paper In seconds, the pen starts to move I'm writing! I'm writing! My thoughts untangle themselves They flow down my hand into my pen I see black marks of words begin to form themselves unto the paper Joyous noise filled the room as I stop what do The words are stopped and sit silently again un finished while I do my victory dance I can write! Once I sit back down, My thought began to tangled themselves again. I hate you, writer's block! © 2013 The Invisible GirlFeatured ReviewReviews
