He's amazing

I guess

I mean he's not perfect

We had our fights

are disagreements

 

But we still love each other

I think...

 

I always wonder what he does when I'm not around

I mean he never lied to me before....I hope

 

I was happy with him

but now I'm sad

I always had fun being with him

but he seems to have forgotten me.

I can't live under his shadow

I don't want to say it but.....it's over

 

I need a guy who can make me feel wanted

I want a guy to really mean it when he says "I love you"

I need a guy who can make me smile everyday.

 

He just wasn't the right guy for me....

so that's why I said its over.

 

Its been a couple years, but I always

stop and wonder how to prevent another heartbreak

 

I'll get a bullet proof vest for the lies.

Building higher walls around me, so no one can get to close to me.

Changing every lock and key so each secret is tuck away.

 

 

I been pushing love back too long

I mean who could blame me

my love was crushed and scattered on the ground for everyone to trample on.

I lost the feeling of being loved.

I miss the feeling of being loved.

 

I will eventually pull away this vest away

I guess that means I will break down my walls too

and I'll open up and share a few of my secrets.

 

I just hope my heart wouldn't be destroyed anymore....

Hopefully one day my Prince Charming will take my heart

and cherish it forever.

im so sorry im guessing this is a true story, it seems more like a story then a poem to me but i really enjoyed reading it, and it really touched me, i felt your emotions and sadness. Im sure you'll find much beter then whoever he was. Theres good guys out there not many but there out there, i found mine finally :) You just have to sort though allot of dicks to find yours.
(If worst comes to worst you could always go lesbian hahha jokes) Na girls are just as bad to bitchy and s**t.

Actually this isn't a true story! Lol i never had a heart break...yet. I had to imagine what it would be like to have a lying boyfriend and having to break up with him. I guess it work out! Lol But there are some true feelings in here. So, yeah I'm still waiting for my Prince. I know he is out there somewhere. :)

You don't understand how many times I've wanted to do that.. Gosh, you described it so well.

Anyways, this is a really powerful poem. I think every girl knows what you mean by it; you want a guy who will make you feel wanted, who will love you for you, who you can be yourself around, who you can trust.. And above all, someone who will always be able to make you smile and laugh, and who will never break your heart. I belies that that's what we all want. We can always dream, and I think we'll all find our special someones someday (: this is a beautiful poem! Yeah, there are a couple of grammatical errors and stuff like that, but the emotions behind it are way more important than little things like that. You can truly tell that this was written from the heart. I really like it, great job (:
