Through her Eyes

Again another poem I accidently deleted! lol :P But here it is again!

Through Her Eyes

 There are advantages of being invisible.

In the corner, I watch life go by through even just the smallest places like a school hallway.

I see the pain, confusion, and lies that the Devil puts in our minds.

I see and write their stories.

 

I see a girl with bleach blonde hair.

She doubts her beauty, so she tries to get the wrong attention.

What she doesn't know is that she is beautiful.

Why doesn't she notice?

 

I see a guy who is handsome in every way.

He is successful in school, in sports, and loves God.

He seems to have a perfect life.

What you don't know is that he's mom is a drug addict.

He goes home to a yelling mom, but he loves her and takes care of her.

 

 

 

I see a girl passed by.

She is small and very skinny.

She doesn't talk much, but when she does she speaks wisdom.

What people don't know is that she is in a deep depression.

She tries to cut herself, she doesn't eat, and she even has suicidal thoughts.

Why doesn't anyone stop her?

 

Soon, I see another girl coming down in the crowded hallway.

She looks just like me with her brown hair falling down her shoulders, and her brown eyes looking down at her Converses.

I look closer and see that the girl is me.

She looks sad, but is she?

Is she afraid? Maybe.

But of what?

No one will know.

 

That is what happens when you live in a world full of sin and darkness.

Is there a way out? Yes!

Through Jesus Christ.

Because through Jesus Christ, the girl is beautiful, the guy will be blessed, and the skinny girl will be taken care of.

As for me, I will continue to serve him.

How?

 

By standing in the corner, and telling his story. <3

Lol! Sad, but funny. Glad you found it on your USB drive. Makes me think of the time I wrote a poem for class ("I Am") and posted it on here.I told my teacher that I didn't have it with me, but I did have it on this site, so my teacher let me get it offline! I just sighed with relief and thought "Thank goodness for Writers' Cafe!".
