BITTERNESS

BITTERNESS

A Poem by CONTAGION PUBLISHING

BITTERNESS

Lashing out at those around you,
at the same time despising yourself.
Wanting everything anew,
knowing your life cant arrange itself.

Refusing to let others in,
so you hold on to your bitterness.
Day to day battles within,
at one with darkness.

Looking for any reason, to hate.
When youre in the unforgiving grip.
Let go, before its too late.

Wonderful and hits you like a nail on the head I have voiced a similar realisation in Introspection and let me try.It is uncanny and yet so difficult to apply

This is incredible. The feelings described in your poem are those so difficult to put a finger on. When you become unhappy, it shows and leaks out in all areas. Your poem really hit me in a good way--a terrific write.
