I miss you

A piece from something that I am writing

I was dreaming and saw the eyes of the one that I adore.  They were like shadows, mysterious yet frightful.  His lips soft yet trembling like something had gone wrong.  He had the expression of sorrow and pain that worried me.

He falls beside me like a weak sparrow surrendering to the wind.

"Hold me," he said in a soft whisper.

So I lay under him, gently embracing him as I rest my head upon his shoulder.  My lips start to tremble as I shyly look up to see the sun slyly stretch open over the horizon.
He turns his head gently to face me and smiles as he whispers,

"I love you"

I close my eyes and feel all my emotions cross paths, making it hard for me to react.  My heart starts to twist and my mind turns to fear.

"Don't leave me," I whisper as a lonely tear slowly mopes down my cheek.
Then I feel his lips pressed softly against mine!

It's a kiss that is never to be forgotten and a moment that only time itself can erase from my mind.

  I can feel him holding me with his gentle touch and his ever so loving embrace.  I held him closer and hoped for him to never let go.  I begin to feel his lips fade away and his body starting to fall through my hold.  He was fading away into the air.  He was slowly turning into ashes and all I could do was continue to leave my eyes closed and cry for what was being taken away from me.  I sit there embracing myself with tears and a shattered heart.

I opened my eyes and watched as my love drifted out into the sea.  The many peices in which I have fallen in love with is now gone and my heart forever shattered.

I layed back down with visions of his beauty, sounds of his laughter, and the feeling of his touch on my skin and I whispered..

"I love you too"

I wake from my dream and search him, calling his name to see if he may still be here.  He's gone again and I'm alone once more.  I return to bed and hide myself from the world.

"I miss you," I said as I weep in the darkness of reality..

Agh. You have me tearing. It's really wonderful. The formats a little all over the place but it makes it more fun to read.
