Walks can save us

Walks can save us

A Poem by Consuela Burke

I sit alone in love with all my thoughts
Atop a rock not far from home
The perfect walk

Wind, waves, and rain groan
And so do I

There is no time to be lonely
With so much beauty in this light

I should be going home now,
But I won't.
I wish you knew me,
In a way you don't.
