Prognosis?

Prognosis?

A Poem by Constance-Outspoken
"

For the Creative Poetry group... words given in italics... inscribe, inuendos, devotion, riveting, syndrome, mischief

"
  Somewhere along the line
                      of getting
                to know
                            you
            a syndrome
                  develops
        where ordinary words
     become riveting,
                            alive:
        passionate
                innuendos
     bent to
                     inscribe
                themselves
                  indelibly upon

          the memory

What divine
                        mischief
             is afoot
                             when first I
                   dare to tread
          into
   the realm of
                         devotion--
         developing
             every symptom
                   of the blessed
         curse
diagnosed

                      as, simply
                           love

Awe yes love can be quite the rascal and sneak up on you... such a playful nature with in your words that can make you giddy just like love.

I really like it! It is very well written you made a lovely poem with the words.
Loving the comparison to love as a sickness.. nice! Good luck.
