HangingA Poem by Constance-OutspokenCreative poetry group. Words given: flimsy, acrid, enshrine, patient, desirousBalancing to dance upon a wire too flimsy to hang clothes upon she gives us one last smile Acrid is the flavor of her kiss yet we've clung, mad, desirous to musings she daren't speak Stormy sky surrounds her hungering to swallow whole what many hope to enshrine The line snaps.... Truth hangs in midair, penitent and patient as we silently fall away © 2010 Constance-OutspokenReviews
