Emerald SeaA Poem by Constance-OutspokenFor the Poetry and Lyrical Challenge Group. Title and theme were given: Emerald Sea, swaying tree. I thought the form would enhance the words a little.Cyan sky and canary sun were washed away, usurped by slate and gunpowder clouds, impregnated and swollen with phthalo sheets of tepid rain, as a grove of celadon trees swayed en-masse, sailing westward as one emerald sea-- trailing cotton candy blossoms across lapis lazuli lagoons, inundating terra cotta hillsides with the future's fertile forests © 2010 Constance-OutspokenReviews
