Adios (100 wd dialogue)

Adios (100 wd dialogue)

A Story by Constance
"

This is a conversation I wish would have taken place, before things became worse. Me now, this is what I would have said and done. Me then was weak as water. 100 words of dialogue for the contest.

"

"Good morning, dear. A cellphone bill came in the mail today. I ordered an itemized one, to see why it was so high..."

"Y? Gorda, why do you always question? Better to just pay..."

"Oh, I paid the bill... after I called the number you spent hours on the phone with. I recognized her voice... You never spent five minutes calling home to me, your WIFE!"

"You called Lena? What! What did you say ? Dios mio... jealous child!"

"I told her she should be ready to receive you and your things. I spent the morning packing for you. Adios, Ricardo."

Author's Note

Constance
Just 100 words of dialogue for a contest here on the cafe. Based on my own experiences, and real conversations, and what I SHOULD have said.
Explanation of Spanish dialogue for those who don't know these few words:
Y? = and what? Gorda = fat girl, but is often used by Mexican males as a term of endearment toward their wife Dios mio= oh my God! adios= goodbye

I'm so glad that at least you're no longer in that situation. Urgh, men! I loved the way you've written this, I had to read it twice just to absorb everything. Short but speaks volumes. A very gripping and outstanding piece. I loved the start and the finish. It seems exactly like a real conversation, I could hear the voices in my head. I wouldn't be surprised if you won this competition!
