Dust And GlitterA Poem by ConstanceThe hand that caresses, can hurt The heart that truly loves, can kill In person, or on a screen you'll see Evidence that life's a bitter little pill 'Til you learn to seek the glitter in the dirt
As it all unfolds before your gaze At times you'll espouse disillusion, You won't want to see the end Yet, don't get lost in this confusion For there shall soon be other days
The hand that hurts, can caress The heart that kills, can truly love In person, or on a screen you'll see Evidence of blessings from above And you'll smile without need of duress
