To Be Loved

To Be Loved

A Chapter by Constance

Spring has dawned

Birds not only sing, but dance

Rain no longer breeds sadness

But seems to kiss the ground

And then leap up with joy

For I know now how it feels

To be beloved

Winter is gone

Glorious sun seeps into my soul

Icy hands no longer holding grip

Around my battle-scarred heart

Warmed by your gaze's fire

Oh, I know now how it feels

To be loved

This is so touching in so few words. Wonderful, beautiful imagery of the rain leaping up and the gaze of your one and only warming your tattered heart and soul. Great write. Thank you.
