First day of AutumnA Poem by conspicuousleafThought I'd try and write a poem about Autumn. The brown leaves spiral down from the trees, crashing against the muddy ground. The branches of the trees clap together as the calm refreshing wind blows against them gently. The sky is cloudy - a blanket of white fluff lay gently above. Foxes scuttle across the luscious pastures and birds chirp blissfully, welcoming the first day of Autumn.
