What Wars a Good War?A Poem by Conrad WrobelGotta hate the president. Gotta hate the war. Gotta hate the president some more.
Our boys, our men, our civil servants, Lost in a land of corruption and terrorists. To get there they shouldn’t be so far from home, The white house is far as they’d have to roam. What divides our president from the masses, With A K Forty Sevens On a Jihad to Heaven. What separates him from the common man, I think all the power has gone to his head. We aren’t in We’ve invaded a country for natural resources. The life of one man is not equal to oil, The life of a thousand makes my blood start to boil. Who started this war? He did! Who chose to invade? He did! Who declared war on terrorism? He did! Who’s got the power to reverse it? He does….? Men getting shot for something the presidents done. I don’t mean to be spiteful; I don’t mean to be mad, But sometimes I wish the damn b*****d was dead. © 2008 Conrad WrobelFeatured Review
