CelestusA Poem by Conrad WrobelWe all have a certain viewpoint of what heaven might look like
Celestus An in-ordained vision of my ancestors, before those with name, before those with life, just purpose. Existence in an existential haze. Flowing light and blushing clouds dot the sky of Celestus. Glinting off the high, windowless towers, whiter than ivory, just as hard and flawless as marble, yet insubstantial as dreams.
Wings fly with figures attached,
messengers of the realm with no floor and no sky. An endless horizon mingling with a misty pavement.
Celestus. Realm of the untimed.
Powers beyond creation. The true endless. Celestus. © 2008 Conrad Wrobel |
