A Prophecy That Will Never Come

A Prophecy That Will Never Come

A Poem by The Last Philospher

A promise long forgotten,
Weight of the past still present,
Joy from within now rotten.

With eyes charred by flames,
And ears torn by chaos
Only uncertainty remains.

The birth of the chosen
Now never to happen.
God's armor is brittle,
His fire now frozen.

He who took action has faded,
Lost in the darkness,
'Ver since he hesitated.
