Do You Even Lift?

Do You Even Lift?

A Poem by The Last Philospher

Do you even lift?
How big is your load?

Is it heavier than responsibility;
Knowing that your actions affect others?

Is it heavier than legacy;
The weight of conserving your father's name?

Is it heavier than a past;
One where others were left behind,
And you must ensure it was worth it.

How much can you carry?

Wow
The last line is sort of breath taking, you know like that stuff which just sinks into your heart. The words, "how much can you carry?", just sunk into my heart like that.
This poem is probably really relatable to all of humans. Great job!

I love the way you have used a popular saying "Do you even lift?" and fused it into the poem this way. It attracts a whole different audience and is a very interesting way to get your message across. Great work!
