These Moments of an Odd Insecurity

These Moments of an Odd Insecurity

A Poem by The Last Philospher

It's an odd vulnerability.
Being one so unbreakable,
Yet with so much sensitivity.

Strong eyes,
Good size,
Bones as strong as steel.
Yet uncomfortable about my thighs,
Embarrassed when my shirt hugs my sides,
And a bit guilty after every meal.

I don't question my worth.
Bold yet pure intention,
A man with great ability,
Admired since the day of birth.
Yet these small moments bring up a question.
These moments of an odd insecurity.
