What is the point of this poem?

What is this writings meaning?

Is the point to show a feeling,

To share a though,

To make you do or do not,

Is the point to show you me?

What will my intention be?

When I write this poem...What will I show them?

In poetry there's that can be,

So many ways to go.

First there's rhythm: Fast or slow?

In you poem, what's the speed of time?

Then of course one must consider rhyme,

You've gotta make it fun!

Structure, lyric, tone, then done!

After this, in front of you a poem you will see.

The hardest part is yet to come,

For it's not as simple as following step one, two, and three.

Will you let your poem free?

Allow it to inspire,

To awaken people's deepest desire,

To flow in the wind and plant its seeds,

To fulfil peoples intimate needs.

Because although you may the finished, the poem it still not done!
