my next door neighbour

my next door neighbour

A Poem by con
"

in memory of gaynia

"

when i was young you were my neighbour

but fate took you away

you caught something and couldnt bounce back

you were my neighbour and watched me grow up

you looked after me and my sister as a mother

you worked in the pub and drunk with my dad

stayed up until 7 in the morning

you smoke with my mum but it was your down fall

smoke caused your death it did bowl infected with cancer

you didnt catch it time to save you life

you died in november i was only a lad of ten

you cause uncertanty and sadness in the family and amounst your friends

if you are up in heaven looking down on me, my gardian angel

i pray that you have found eteral peace and happyness

you were my neighbour and now you are gone

its been 7 year and i still remember the day

back when i was young and you were my neighbour
