Lost CauseA Poem by BandgeekHer hair
swung in front of her face As she tried
to run from the world The world
was harsh to her. No matter
what she tried. The kids
were cruel her parents were worse. She tried so
hard to make her parents proud. Got straight
A’s and even cleaned the house, But they
said she can do better. She tried to make friends, but she had the loser status. Who wanted
to be friends with a loser? She didn’t know
how she managed to get this status. The teachers
they didn’t care either, none of them. They could care less if she passed or fail. Who wanted a loser as a student? After a
while she just gave up. She took all
the words as if they were true, and just
wanted to escape. She didn’t
know where she could go. Her parents didn’t
want her, She had no
friends And the
teachers they didn’t like her either She found
know where to go So why try? She
found this rope in her garage She thought ‘no
one wants me. If I disappear no one look for me. I’m a lost cause.’ Last word
she had thought before she hung herself. And no one came to
find her-ever. © 2012 BandgeekAuthor's Note
