Whispered Glow

Shadows dance on paths not taken

Beautifully drawing us in

I can’t breathe

Bright light keeps me captive

I need to break free

Moving towards the shadows I stop

Feeling time move between us

Gracefully it swirls into the path not taken

Moving towards its pull the shadows close in on me

A soft breeze of beauty whispers

Slightly elevated

Whispers flow from your lips

I look at you and let go

Free
