Privilege Pains

Privilege Pains

A Poem by conceited_cats

We played with pain,
As all privileged children do.
It was a mystery,
This deep emotional intensity.
A kind of pain we thought we may have felt
But knew we’d never really felt
And wished we’d never have to.
