The Sin of AnimusA Poem by ComposerofWordsIt's a poem about the constant struggle from within.Hostile rebuke at embittered walk Callused heart from identity lain, Most heavy load on suffering roam Has not the strength, eyes sealed with caulk.
Too many tears held back through streams A tender cause yet eyes do strain, A withered faith which thins through gloam His hope for change, light’s glory beam.
Caution all, an ire wrought Brought ever high on dais deign, Common words read in precious tome Misplaced fear on troubled thought.
Cast a net to fill it full Of sin and flesh and rotting blain, Walk straight and true and barrel home Delve deep, delve oft to feel the pull.
