Someday I'm going to have to pay for the things I've done

Someday I'm going to have to pay for the things I've done

A Poem by thespaceinmybed

In blood and retribution
Someday someone will ask
And I will have to answer
What good are buried secrets to the living?
Mouths want to be fed
Filthy things
Always
Things even the dirt won’t cling to
I could tell you my name
And all the bodies it’s rested in
But that’s not what really matters

You just want to see
The broken bones
The flesh pulling away
Flies in the blood

You want to watch life lose

Without it touching you
You want a movie
A story
A product

I can’t give it to you

My carnage is my own to swallow
