You're the midnight I taste with my eyes closed

You're the midnight I taste with my eyes closed

A Poem by thespaceinmybed

A lost whisper I can't grip
So keep your name and your ways
Cause nothing else warms me
You are the blanket full of stars
I like to wrap around my shivering body
In a empty parking lot

I agree with Sarrow - Love the title! And the lines
"You are the blanket full of stars
I like to wrap around my shivering body"
are definitely my favourite.
Lovely, short, sweet poem

You're welcome :)
The pic and the words vied for attention. The last three lines were standalone strong... the first three felt angry

It happens when we hurt
I love the title of this to begin with, it really sets this up. I also thought that the whole idea of a 'blanket full of stars' was great and beautiful.
