I had a story to tell

I had a story to tell

A Poem by thespaceinmybed

but I choked on it
the reality of it
was hard to swallow

I placed your name in my mouth
a stain I won't forgive myself

our beginning was a mistake
our closeness a joke

boys come out of the cracks
looking for someplace on me
to hold on to

but my body is smooth
and I don't leave parts of it
lying around

not anymore
