What is Love?

What is Love?

A Poem by Ivan Mauricio Urrego

What is Love?

Love, what is love?
Its an oasis of haven in the deserts of pain,
is bitter sweetness with frozen fire
that makes of pain a weeping of delight,
is an imprisoned freedom, captive
tied to the heart of the loved one.
Love, what is the smell of love?
It seems that everything has a rumor of spring
like an enchanting fragrance
inside the deepest dream without end
with essence of interlaced jasmines
in the stupor of a garden.
Love, what is the taste of love?
When one loves
it seems that it has a taste
of kind strawberry and bitter apple
that in its mysterious desire
makes the lips sigh,
turning a kiss blindly in ardor
on a bloomed path.

I think love is like this to...and many more things also...it is so hard to put everything about love down...since it can be many things...it would just go on forever
Great poem and Great Job :)
