Your voice is symphony

Your voice is symphony

A Poem by Ivan Mauricio Urrego

Your voice is symphony

Sings the sea, abundant of his harmonious bells
and the tides strike against the dewy stones,
the clouds play from the awakening up to the death of the day
with the dawn of gold and the silver moon,
the wind sighs, weeps the sky

resounding the kisses of the rain against the earth.
Chant the birds of spring
the trees speak with their green tongues
but only your nightly voice I can hear,
deep and splendid, subtler than the melody
of the sirens that swim from wave to wave in their seas.
Your voice is the quake of time,
is the drop of the silence that seals the stillness
and the symphony that wraps me in her soft clarity.

This one is really special...the imagery is actually pretty magical. I like the last three lines best :)

Hmm.
This is just beautiful - the imagery amazing.
I kind of just floated away in this piece :P.
I'm not one to rant and rave about writing too often, but this is wonderful.
The shortness, & simplicity of language, & flow, is perfect.
