A Poem to My Loving Mother

A Poem to My Loving Mother

A Poem by MimiYeuDore
"

A brief and simple poem to my mother.

"
Oh, to my dear loving mother.
I pray for the best to come to you.
I'm sorry for my foolishness to disgrace your love to me,
But now, I guess it's not too late to apologize.
I treasured your love and caring upon our family.
It's painful to see you carry the pain of embarrassment from mischievous strangers.
It's even hurtful to see you devote your life to protect this family.
Your love is a sea full of hopes.
Your tears are always filled with joys.
But I'm proud, mom,
I'm proud to have such a great mother in this world,
Who would encourage, care, and love me more than precious gold,
Who would shape me into a better person.
Oh, to my dear loving mother,
I pray for the best to come to you.

In the second line I believe you meant "I'm sorry"
Line five has a few verb tense changes "treasured", "love" "caring" Maybe you should make the tenses agree.
In line nine I believe you meant "filled"
Other than the grammatical mistakes, I love this poem. Reminds me of how I used to feel about my mom and how i'm learning to feel again. I hope you never lose your love and tenderness towards your mom. Treasure her always. Great poem :)

I'm really appreciate your critiques. That sure helped me a lot. I'm really bad at making grammar mistakes while writing an essay or poem, but thank you for helping.
