Fly

Fly

A Poem by Jera
"

product of Insomnia

"

ive failed it seems,

on the edge of defiance

a broken alliance

impaled our dreams,

for once its the last

what it was is the past

you remember me,

not the broken artistic

or the rendered simplistic

but the shadow of we,

to love and have lost

is a much lesser cost

than what was to be,

 in all this confusion

we both knew we'd lose it

so lets set it free

One thing let me just say that a insominac produces some great poetry.
The feeling of being drained and tired but unable to go to sleep is so
painful....but when it comes to doing a task we're so focused. I see that
in this poem it's greatly focused beautiful word. I like how you are describing
the separation as being a freedom almost makes the reader feel like the relationship
caged the both of these people....nice work!

very nicely penned! the end was way too sensible...deep and hurtful!

Wow, very enjoyable. I love the smooth, fast paced flow of this piece. Very well written. Nicely done. :)

it has a very different rhythm, but if read right it sounds pretty good
