end?//no, please.

end?//no, please.

A Poem by jamie mae

Utterly unforgettable, you remain permanent.
A standard within my mind, ever constant.
Each piece of you acts as a wave of contentment,
Washing through, leaving me with a pure sentiment.
Falling to rest, to bring you closer, by night fall.
The boundless intensity of my lust, so simple for you to draw.
Your love is secure, wrapping around me like a shawl.
Those hands, so clever, with arms open, they call.
Separated by vast lands, but hearts connected by lasting thread.
Distance holds meaning not, when with eyes closed, to you, I fled.
Free from judgement and all insecurities safely shed,
Even my days growing easier, from the beautiful things you said.
Truly, I am undeserving, but may I ask just one question, sir;
May I please be your lily, mister humming bird?
