My way out

My way out

A Poem by Colleen a Bean

My Way Out

I’m stuck

I’m Lying

I hate myself

I have so many secrets

I’m stuck in the same routine

All I want to do is cut

It’s what makes me happy

Cutting is my way out

It doesn’t hurt

My bodies to numb

It is my secret

It’s my addiction

Once you start

You may never stop

I am no exception

I love the feeling

I love watching the blood flow out

I don’t ever want to stop

It feels to right

If it helps

Why should I stop

People get tattoos

What’s the difference

Cutting is no different

It’s a way to express myself

If you don’t do it

You will never understand

If you don’t do it

Don’t tell me to stop

Don’t take away my way out
