WednesdayA Poem by Cody Jeremy ThompsonRaindrops are dripping from saddened sky. Their existence extinguished as they touch the ground. With their last sigh they join the melancholic quartet. They join the crying wind , roaring thunder, And cracking of tree branches who foolishly expected a spring bloom. It's this day that to everybody brings gloom. It's this Wednesday, That orphaned the clouds, By killing the sun. © 2017 Cody Jeremy ThompsonAuthor's Note
