Don't

Don't

A Chapter by damien anthony

You make me feel exclusive
Like I’m the only one
So don’t let me believe it
When I’m not around you’re getting down
If you want to fool around
Then so will I
But don’t think you will
Have me always be around

I don’t wanna play games
I’ve played them
I don’t wanna tell lies
I’ve heard them

Don’t stand here giving me an illusion
Of the dreams I once had
That dream was over yet you want to relive it
But I won’t be misled again

If you call me your boyfriend
I’ll let you for a fee
Just set yourself to private
No one else can see what I call mine
So if you just can’t do that
Neither will I
It’s equality
When it comes to s**t like that

I don’t wanna be fooled
I’ve been one
I don’t wanna be burnt
I have scars

Don’t stand here giving me an illusion
Of the dreams I once had
That dream was over yet you want to relive it
But I won’t be misled again

I'll let you for a fee, just set yourself to private...that was a clever line! I like this a lot. The frustration shines through very well.
