              Careless Love

 

          When the world began,

          people ran and ran

          not knowing the consequences of

          not waiting to give away their love

          to the one person who cared

          if they were pushed or shoved.

 

          They just gave away the most important thing

          to people who wouldn't even bother to give them a ring.

          People who used them and threw them away

          like trash in a garbage can, not letting them ask may

          they have a second chance on love

         even though fake love isn't as precious as a pure dove.

hey colagirl , you really put the quill to the real test on the love issue ..I agree there are people in the world who have no clue of what real love is,, and the sad part about it is there's not enough people like you around that are willing to be different ,, keep writing
