I am God's

I am God's

A Poem by Cocachloe

We judge the face of everyone we meet
Like porcelain dolls that walk the street
No you don’t see me
You can’t see me
I'm more than the clothes that I wear
I’m more than the style of my hair
I’m more than the weight on the scale
I’m more than the stories that they tell
For I am God’s
And he is mine
And he loves me
Even when I don’t try

So when I go out on the streets
I show God’s love to all I meet
So if they meet me
It’s really God they see
He's more than the clothes that I wear
More than the style of my hair
More than the weight on the scale
More than the stories that they tell
He is great
More than we can know
And he loves me
Even when I don't
