My Father

My Father

A Poem by coin

My Father

can't choose a burger

My Mother

let someone else pick her new cellphone

I have a body memory of stress and anxiety every time

a decision is to be made

- and that's a lot.

My ex lets me crash at her place when I'm in the city working

I hate my job

but haven't planned to leave it

I prefer my surroundings to decide for me.

Ride the tension train until

it breaks.

breakup, quit your job, make up your f*****g mind
