Mistress Misery

Mistress Misery

A Poem by Sweeney Bob

A single rose petal

falls like a drop of crimson blood

on her ivory skin

MIstress Misery, please don't leave

The icy tears can never

fill the void left behind

by lovers past

Mistress Misery, please don't leave

She sits at the grave

where she once cried

now devoid

Mistress Misery please don't leave

My empty clay limbs

I'm dead without you

i feel nothing

Mistress Misery Please don't leave

For a five minute poem this is very well structured and worded! I like it, although perhaps another stanza or two could add to the power behind it.
