My TemptressA Poem by coffeedigestTemptation is strongest when distracted.A rush that will not leave, It swallows thoughts and sings. A flash of white from thin, to thick. It reeks and stings, I plead, Yet sink. My bones shake of Carried weight, from only gin, and snake. His whisper smells of God, yet tastes of hate.
