The Seed

The Seed

A Poem by Cody Michael

Depression forms its greedy grasp,
Protruding from the seed planted long ago,
emursing, entwining, growing
Shackled by the ununifyed nature,
remorsed for the unforseen, unknown past that lies within us all,
It's darkness ensnairs the captive,
feeding on the sadness,
broken dreams,
lost hopes.

The desier to go on becomes a new painfull journey.
Cutting through the over grown deepths of the darkness,
Immursing to it's source,
finding your self only to be ensnaired with it's seed.
