I Won't Cry Over You

My eyes lit up,
When i saw you walk by. 
My heart had hopes,
That someday you'd say,
You loved me.
But my heart never prepared, 
For those words to be lies.

My heart died for a while,
But now that its back,
I realize,
There was no need to cry.
Because you lied,
Because it was never true,
So why should i cry over you?
I shouldn't,
Your a jerk,
Who seems to have never cared.
So you know what?
I won't cry over you,
And my heart definitely won't die over you.
